POSITION SUMMARY
As the Quality Assurance Technician, you will perform routine incoming, in-process and final visual inspection on manufactured product, when required. Additionally, you will be responsible for processing and maintaining proper records for any nonconforming or defect material identified internally or by the customer after delivery. Supports ACDi QMS in promoting and assessing compliance of AS9100 requirements, contracted functions with regulations, guidelines and corporate policies of PMI and customers through the conduct of independent audits of projects and processes as applicable.

- Implement Quality Standards to help ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze Quality performance data; collaborate with all functions to develop and implement controls and continuous improvements.
- Maintain Quality Documentation (test reports, inspection reports, etc.) through our ERP system.
- Support internal and external Quality audits.
- Help to educate all employees in Quality standards and best practices.
- Knowledgeable on IPC-610 and J-STD-001
- Perform receiving/incoming, in-process, and final inspection
- Complete reports for AS9102 first article inspection
- Maintain a detail log of the nonconforming materials
- Conduct analysis required to identify root cause of nonconformance
- Work with team members to disposition nonconforming materials
- Complete nonconforming reports
- Maintain records
- Initiate system RMA process when a request is received for returned material
- Maintain a detail log of returned material
- Work with related team members to disposition returned material
- Complete RMA reports
- Maintain records
SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

- Associates Degree (A.A.) is preferred
- High School Diploma or general education (GED) is required
- 1-3 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

REQUIRED/PREFERRED SKILLS
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, as well as listening skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and with a sense of urgency
- Ability to use computer software packages to include MS Office.
- Microsoft Access experience is a plus.
- Experience in quality assurance or quality control is a plus.
- Electronic manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of IPC-610 and J-STD-001 is a plus.
