Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a talented, driven, and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our sales team. The Business Development Specialist will support the sales and marketing departments to increase sold opportunities while providing excellent customer service to prospective clients. 

• Proactively work with management and marketing team to create a pipeline of prospects and meet regularly to discuss strategy and execution.
• Create and execute presentations to prospective clients and internal executives.
• Promote all A-C-T services to new prospects through outbound calls, email campaigns, social media, networking efforts and more.
• Convert potential prospect into a qualified sales lead while documenting all activity and communication in the CRM.
• Proven ability to lead a customer discovery call by asking multi-layered, probing questions to suggest the appropriate solution offering.
• Attention to detail throughout the entire sales cycle, from discovery to sold while suggesting proper solutions and keeping client engaged.
• Regularly review and update customer data in the CRM software 
• Attend events, conferences, meetings and site walks to promote A-C-T and generate leads for the sales team.
• Suggest improvements to sales process, sales tools, and anything else that will accelerate closing new business and ensuring referenceable clients

Qualifications needed:

• 2-year degree (minimum), Technical, Sales or Business degree.
• Minimum of one (1) year of sales experience required.
• Proven successful track record of selling solutions to C-Level decision makers.
• Able to close new business remotely and travel as needed.
• Passion for networking and promoting proven solution.
• High energy, sense of urgency and self-starter.
• Ability to independently multitask and prioritize tasks, pivoting if the needs change.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
