Receiving Clerk/Materials Handler

Job Summary:

Prepare weekly and monthly inventory of materials and finished product. Work with vendors. Responsible for the handling and storage of empty bags.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Works with multiple suppliers to compare price, quality and delivery timelines for all MROs
• Resolves receiving/shipment discrepancies with suppliers
• Monitors, updates, and reports employee's access and use of the Fastenal vending machines to management
• Fills out inbound inspection report on all deliveries per S.O.P
• Forecasts MROs needs for packaging and shipping departments while maintaining inventory requirements.
• Perform weekly audits of MROs
• Manages empty bag inventory levels
• Audits empty bag inventory weekly, monthly and yearly
• Picks up daily deliveries from front office and distributes them to operations.
• Monitors recycling program and schedules materials for shipment.
• Generates a daily bag usage log for packaging needs
• Manages MRO storage throughout the facility, material warehouse and containers
• Trained and compliant with organization's Quality Control and Quality Assurance/Food Safety programs and procedures.
• Trained and compliant with organization's safety program.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience working in warehouse environment
• Experience with inventory
• Data entry
• Organizational skills
• Strong verbal & written communication
• Familiar with Microsoft Office
