What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Counselor position at American Collegiate Adventures?
Become part of the American Collegiate Adventures (ACA) summer team! ACA runs pre-college and enrichment programs for high school and middle school students across the U.S. and Europe.
We’re looking for enthusiastic, responsible, and flexible individuals who love to travel, lead, and inspire. As an ACA staff member, you’ll help students have the summer of a lifetime while gaining invaluable experience in leadership, mentorship, and education.

ACA Program Locations Include:
- Malibu, California
- Georgetown, Washington D.C.
- Ann Arbor, Michigan
- Madison, Wisconsin
Staff Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a safe, supportive, and fun environment for all students
- Advise and mentor students throughout the program
- Develop, facilitate, and participate in daily and weekend activities
- Live with and supervise students in residence halls or hotels
- Accompany students to classes, activities, and excursions
- Capture high-quality photos and videos of program activities, excursions, and student experiences for ACA’s marketing and social media channels
- For U.S. programs: Safely drive students in ACA vehicles to excursions and off-campus activities (training and vehicle provided by ACA)
Staff Eligibility
- Must be at least 21 years old by June 28, 2026
- Must be a college graduate
- Must have experience working with high school students
- U.S.-based program staff must hold a valid driver’s license and be comfortable driving students in ACA vehicles
- Must be willing to maintain ACA’s smoke-, alcohol-, and substance-free environment
