Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling transactions efficiently, cash handling and basic accounting skills, and ensuring a positive experience for all customers. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Process sales using Reynolds & Reynolds system, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring resolution to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and retail math tasks.
- Adhere to company policies regarding phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries.
Skills
- Proficiency in cash register operation and cash handling procedures.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds is preferred.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.
- Knowledge of retail math concepts and account balancing is a plus.
- Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with customers.
