About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity for a self-driven professional to help expand ACM’s cabinetry design business in the Bethesda market. In this role, you will design beautiful spaces, nurture strong customer relationships, coordinate showroom activity, and help ensure a seamless experience from first appointment through project completion and service follow-up.
Success in this role blends creativity, sales expertise, technical precision, customer care, and strong organizational ability. The ideal candidate will be just as comfortable creating cabinetry designs as they are managing showroom flow, coordinating appointments, and keeping service needs on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers into the showroom and guide them through cabinetry, design options, and product selections tailored to their needs.
- Coordinate day-to-day showroom activity, helping maintain an organized, professional, and welcoming environment.
- Schedule and manage design consultations, customer appointments, and showroom traffic with efficiency and professionalism.
- Help coordinate and manage the service schedule, ensuring service-related appointments, follow-ups, and customer communication are handled promptly and thoroughly.
- Develop new business by building strong relationships with builders, remodelers, architects, and trade professionals.
- Accurately measure spaces and prepare precise layout designs and project orders.
- Create custom designs using 20/20 design software with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage multiple projects and associated documentation simultaneously.
- Follow up with customers throughout the project lifecycle, delivering the exceptional service ACM is known for.
- Support the continued growth of our cabinetry division by actively seeking new opportunities and representing ACM with professionalism in every interaction.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of five years of experience in cabinetry design and sales.
- Proficiency with 20/20 Design Software and the ability to produce custom designs.
- Strong customer service abilities and professional communication skills.
- Ability to measure accurately, prepare detailed orders, and handle project documentation.
- Experience coordinating schedules, appointments, or showroom operations strongly preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, schedules, and deadlines at once.
- Highly motivated, organized, and proactive in seeking business opportunities.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
