American Cedar & Millwork is looking for an experienced Carpenter / Installer to join our growing team. We are seeking a skilled carpenter with experience in cabinet installation, window and door installation, and general millwork. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, professional, and comfortable working in both new construction and remodeling environments. This position will support customer installations and service work while receiving training on ACM products, standards, and installation guidelines.
Pay is commensurate with carpentry skill level, experience, and knowledge of cabinet, window, and door installation and service.

Responsibilities
The Carpenter / Installer will be responsible for performing installation and service work with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include:
- Installing kitchen cabinets and related millwork
- Assisting with window and door installation and service
- Working with Andersen, Marvin, and other window and door products
- Performing work in new home construction and remodeling settings
- Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Reading and following oral and written instructions
- Maintaining an organized and safe work area
- Working efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail
- Supporting the lead carpenter or service technician as needed
- Maintaining personal hand tools and work belt
- Performing other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualified candidates should have:
- Five or more years of cabinet installation or related carpentry experience
- General carpentry skills and knowledge of woodworking tools
- Familiarity with window and door products and service work
- Experience with Andersen and Marvin windows preferred
- Ability to lift 50 to 100 pounds without assistance
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders while carrying materials
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions
- Understanding of safety practices and procedures
- Ability to perform basic math
- Strong communication skills
- Professional appearance and work ethic
- Reliable attendance and consistent work habits
- Ability to work independently while representing the company with integrity
- Pleasant and respectful demeanor with customers, vendors, and coworkers
