What You'll Do
In this role, you'll take ownership of the company's credit and collections function, balancing risk with opportunity and helping strengthen relationships with our customers and internal teams. You will:

Lead and coordinate daily operations within the credit department, managing accounts receivable and ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.

Implement and uphold company credit policies while identifying opportunities to streamline and strengthen processes.

Review and approve orders for manufacturing and shipment regularly, developing solutions for accounts that need additional support or security.

Oversee all collection activities, including reviewing past-due accounts, initiating follow-up actions, and maintaining accurate financial documentation.

Maintain up-to-date customer credit files and financial data, working closely with internal stakeholders to make informed credit decisions.

Communicate directly with customers, suppliers, and credit groups to assess financial performance, handle bonds and liens, and build productive partnerships.

Manage and mentor team members, fostering a culture of accuracy, initiative, and professional growth. Ensure compliance with company policies.

Leverage ERP systems JD Edwards and ASI to drive efficiencies and improve reporting and workflow.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration from an accredited four-year college or university is required. (Proof of degree required. Transcript or diploma must be provided).

Minimum of five (5) years of prior experience in commercial credit and collection work, ideally within construction, heavy manufacturing, or industrial industries.
