What are the responsibilities and job description for the Die Cutter Lead position at American Carton Company?
Directs the operator of the cutting presses and the members of the scrapping department. Monitors other operations such as sheeting and finishing departments. Follows schedule and direct cutting dept. on stock being sheeted and printed for cutting press. Also prepares layouts for jobs and orders dies.
Responsibilities
Manage die cutter operators and scrapping department, training of all die cutter operators, review of all paperwork completed in the department, creating die layouts, order cutting dies and stepping in to operate the die cutters when needed.
Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of problem-solving cutting press operations and thorough knowledge of cutting press functions and maintenance procedures as required.
Previous experience creating layouts is preferable
