Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Home Health Biller / Collections professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of home health billing and insurance processes, and be comfortable working part-time with a flexible schedule (approximately 2 days per week on-site).
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit billing for home health services.
- Review insurance eligibility and verify patient coverage.
- Follow up on unpaid claims and outstanding balances.
- Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.
- Communicate with insurance companies and patients as needed.
- Support other finance and administrative tasks as required.
Required Skills / Experience:
- Knowledge of Home Health billing preferred.
- Understanding of insurance eligibility and billing processes.
- Familiarity with billing platforms and insurance portals.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
Reporting Structure:
- Reports to Finance Manager
Hours / Schedule:
- Part-time, flexible schedule (approximately 2 days per week on-site).
Compensation:
- $28.00 – $35.00 per hour, based on experience.
