Job Title: PTR Facility Janitor

SUMMARY:
A working position which will work underneath the guidance of the Maintenance Manager and will work closely with Purchasing and Tooling Manager for local deliveries and pickups.
RELATIONSHIPS: Please see PTR’s Organizational Chart included in your new hire paperwork for specific relationships.
AUTHORITY: This individual has authority over no other employee but may ask others within their department to help them with tasks. Please see PTR’s organizational chart for more detailed information.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Will include the following but is not limited to:
Ø Follows a schedule to clean PTR facilities (Main Facility & Warehouse as needed)
Ø Chemical handling, sanitation, waste management and floor maintenance.
Ø Additional grounds and deep cleaning tasks as needed.
Ø Adherence to safety while handling cleaning chemicals and waste.
Ø Driver’s license required for pickup truck movements and willing to be backup driver for the warehouse box truck (willing to train).
Ø Arriving at work on time for every scheduled shift.
Ø Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
Ø Strict adherence to all PTR and OSHA safety rules and regulations

PREFFERED QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Ø Preferred minimum 1-yr cleaning experience.
Ø Driver’s license with clean driving record.
Ø Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ø Ability to complete cleaning logs
Ø Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The associate frequently is required to sit, walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl to support production needs.
The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision (with or without corrective lenses), and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Office/Production Floor.

· Must be 18 years of age or older.
