Responsibilities
As a Preventative Maintenance Technician, your primary duties will include:
- Cleaning and maintaining CCTV camera systems.
- Replacing card readers and batteries as necessary.
- Learning and understanding access control systems and CCTV systems.
- Working with low-voltage systems and multimeters.
- Utilizing a variety of hand tools to perform job functions.
- Operating independently and demonstrating initiative in problem-solving.
- Participating in continued learning and skills development in the security field.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Preventative Maintenance Technician role has:
- A degree or certification from an electronics school or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in security installation for home consumers.
- Experience in data cabling.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
- Proven ability to work independently and within a team.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- A clean driving record and the ability to pass an FBI background check and drug test.
