Construction Superintendent

– Position requires proven knowledge and experience in phased construction and integration, specifically of complex technology systems in public transportation venues. The Project Construction Superintendent shall be responsible for coordinating all necessary permits required to proceed with the project be they of local, state, or federal origin. The Project Construction Superintendent shall also be responsible for attending any permitting or zoning board meeting that may be required as part of the construction permitting process. Position responsibilities include coordinating the daily/weekly workload schedule, which shall be based upon the project master schedule, and will encompass the scheduling of any/all sub-contracts and the coordination of participating Division of Airport Technology (DAT) MAA personnel. Communications shall be an essential requirement and responsibility of this position. Appropriate Airport staff, including MAA DAT personnel, must be dutifully apprised during each consecutive aspect of the project as it is both scheduled and implemented

Individual will also be responsible for developing a safety plan for the project and to ensure that all trades are properly trained in OSHA safety and conduct daily/weekly safety meeting for all trades.
