Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cabinet Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing custom cabinets, built-in storage solutions, and related fixtures across residential and commercial projects. Your expertise in precise measurements, blueprint interpretation, and skilled use of hand and power tools will ensure high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install cabinets and related fixtures according to specifications.
- Measure dimensions precisely using tape measures and other tools to ensure proper fit and alignment of cabinetry.
- Prepare work areas by clearing debris, protecting surfaces, and setting up scaffolding or ladders safely for elevated installations.
- Install cabinets, countertops, trim carpentry, doors, fixtures, and other building materials utilizing hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as needed.
- Conduct quality inspections during installation to verify adherence to blueprint specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, electricians, plumbers, and other trades to coordinate installation schedules and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in cabinet installation and casework or related construction fields such as carpentry or remodeling projects.
- Familiarity with construction management practices including scheduling, site supervision, and safety procedures.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and dimensional measurements.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., saws, drills), power tools (e.g., sanders, grinders), and heavy equipment operation when necessary.
- Ability to work at heights using ladders safely and efficiently while following all safety guidelines.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members alike.
