Our Opportunity

We have an opportunity available for a permanent, full-time, Forklift Operator at our Jefferson City Distribution Center at 403 East Old Andrew Johnson Hwy. The successful candidate will join our team of distribution center professionals. 

JOB PURPOSE 

The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, unload, and store inventory throughout the warehouse. This position supports the overall flow of goods in the warehouse and plays a critical role in maintaining accuracy and efficiency in daily operations. The Forklift Operator may also assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory functions as needed. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move products and materials within the warehouse safely and efficiently. 

• Load and unload goods from inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and damage-free handling. 

• Transport inventory to appropriate storage areas and organize stock for accessibility and space optimization. 

• Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying and inspecting contents, reporting discrepancies or damages. 

• Assist with inventory control processes including cycle counts and physical inventory checks. 

• Ensure daily equipment inspections are completed and report any maintenance or safety concerns immediately. 

• Adhere to all safety regulations, company procedures, and equipment operating guidelines. 

• Collaborate with warehouse team members to achieve productivity and efficiency goals. 

• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace. 

• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
