What are the responsibilities and job description for the Developer position at American Board of Internal Medicine?
The American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) is currently seeking a Developer to join our Applications Development team. The Developer will provide and maintain software solutions using the .Net framework and Angular. The Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality software products, ensuring quality and adherence to architectural and other relevant standards established by ABIM.
In this role, the Developer will have direct access to work with many of the latest technologies, including:
- C#
- .NET (8 or higher)
- Web API
- Angular (17 or higher)
- Mass Transit
- Entity Framework Core
- Unit Test- Xunit, Jasmine, Karma. Experience with Vitest is a plus.
- TypeScript
- RxJS
- Docker (preferred)
The ideal candidate has 2 years of experience in application and system development in both back-end and front-end development, with a focus on creating scalable, responsive and high-performing applications with good code coverage. A B.S. in computer science or information technology is required, although equivalent work experience with relevant technology certification(s) will be strongly considered.
The ideal candidate must be able to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignments, work collectively and collaboratively with team members, and manage multiple concurrent tasks. A person with proven experience in software development, with a strong understanding of programming languages, development frameworks and best practices will thrive in this role.
