Duties
- Safely operate various types of CMV's including tractor trailer and flatbed straight trucks, adhering strictly to traffic laws and vehicle codes.
- Operate a Princeton forklift for any unloading and loading
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle mechanical condition and readiness; perform basic mechanical troubleshooting when necessary.
- Respond quickly to traffic changes or road hazards with defensive driving techniques to ensure timely arrivals.
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers or clients using effective English language skills; utilize bilingual abilities when needed.
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and safety checks in compliance with company policies.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo; perform heavy lifting when required.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger questions or concerns professionally and courteously.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for bus driving or heavy vehicle operation.
- Proven experience in commercial driving; forklift experiance is plus.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, vehicle codes, emergency stop procedures, and defensive driving techniques.
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities such as bilingual proficiency are a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting; comfortable working in various weather conditions.
- Excellent safety record and commitment to following all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Pay: $21.00 - $29.00 per hour
