What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Sandblaster position at American Bin & Conveyor, LLC?
American Bin and Conveyor is looking for an Industrial Sandblaster at our Burlington, Wisconsin manufacturing facility. Industrial Sandblasters are responsible for operating the blast equipment/spray gun to propel steel grit onto metal surfaces to prepare it for painting. This is a full time/first shift opportunity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate industrial blasting equipment to prepare steel components for painting and finishing
- Inspect parts before and after blasting to ensure quality standards are met
- Assist with industrial painting and coating operations as needed
- Move materials using forklifts, overhead cranes, and hoists (training provided)
- Complete production paperwork and job tracking documentation
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Support other shop operations as needed
- Other duties as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
- Manufacturing, blasting, painting, sandblasting, powder coating, or industrial coating experience preferred - but not required
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to safely wear blasting and respiratory PPE
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, climb, reach, and work in a manufacturing environment
- Successfully pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical.
