About The Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to support our Manufacturing, Operations, and Supply Chain teams. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing raw materials, packaging components, and outsourced services to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production operations.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, meeting production schedules, and supporting on-time order fulfillment.
What You’ll Do
- Review purchasing requirements based on production plans and inventory levels
- Source and request quotes for raw materials, packaging, equipment, and subcontracted services
- Create and issue purchase orders (POs) in the ERP system
- Track open orders and proactively follow up with vendors to meet production timelines
- Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to verify incoming materials
- Resolve delivery issues, shortages, or discrepancies with suppliers
- Complete receiving and inventory updates in the ERP system
- Maintain accurate vendor, item, and purchasing records
- Support cross-functional collaboration with production, warehouse, quality, and accounting teams

Compensation & Schedule
Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:30am-5:30pm
Location: On-site at our manufacturing facility (Irvine)
Pay Range: $22 – $26 per hour (based on experience)
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred)
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles
Experience working with ERP systems (manufacturing environment preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong organizational, time management, and follow-up skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Bilingual Mandarin is a plus
