ROLE OVERVIEW
This is not a desk job. As our Market Development & Brand Ambassador, you will be the face of ABL Nutrition across Southern California — attending industry events, forging relationships with brand owners and entrepreneurs, and converting those connections into qualified opportunities for our sales team. You sit at the intersection of Marketing and Sales: building brand awareness in the field while systematically capturing high-value leads.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
FIELD OUTREACH
• Identify, register for, and attend 2–3 industry events per week across Orange County and Greater Los Angeles — including trade shows, chamber of commerce mixers, health & wellness expos, and startup pitch nights.
• Proactively initiate conversations with brand founders, entrepreneurs, and business owners to uncover OEM/ODM manufacturing needs.
• Deliver concise, compelling elevator pitches that clearly communicate ABL Nutrition's capabilities and value proposition.
BRAND REPRESENTATION
• Serve as the primary on-site representative of ABL Nutrition, ensuring our brand image is polished, professional, and consistent across all touchpoints.
• Set up and manage lightweight pop-up displays and marketing collateral at events.
• Act as the first point of contact for media, local influencers, and community organizers at events.
LEAD GENERATION & PIPELINE SUPPORT
• Capture prospect contact information and initial project requirements using our CRM system.
• Qualify leads on the spot by identifying pain points (supply chain issues, compliance needs, formulation gaps) and interest level.
• Hand off warm, documented leads to the internal sales and technical teams for follow-up consultations.
• Conduct initial 'thank you' outreach within 24 hours of each event to maintain momentum.
CONTENT & MARKET INTELLIGENCE
• Capture short-form 'live from the event' photo/video content for ABL Nutrition's LinkedIn, TikTok, and Xiaohongshu channels.
• Report weekly on local market trends, competitor activity, and emerging brand opportunities observed in the field.
REQUIREMENTS
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) — required.
• Native or professional-level English fluency; bilingual skills (Mandarin, Spanish, or Korean) are a strong plus.
• Reliable personal vehicle, valid California Driver's License, and a clean driving record — required.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills: comfortable initiating conversations with strangers in professional environments.
• Polished, professional appearance appropriate for representing a B2B manufacturing firm.
• Strong organizational habits — able to accurately log contacts, notes, and follow-up actions after each event.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• 1–3 years in field sales, event promotions, hospitality, or brand ambassador roles.
• Background or genuine personal interest in health, wellness, nutrition, or the dietary supplement industry.
• Familiarity with social media content creation — short-form video (TikTok/Reels), photography, and LinkedIn posting.
• Experience with a CRM tool (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) is a plus.
