Residential Program Supervisor
Location: Chehalis, WA
Job Summary
The Residential Program Supervisor oversees daily operations at our Chehalis treatment facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, client-centered care. This role provides leadership and guidance to staff, supports departmental coordination, and assists the Administrator as needed to maintain compliance, integrity, and excellence in program operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide oversight and leadership for all support services, including medical/medication needs, food service, housekeeping, maintenance, transportation, and BHT/PSA staff.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations (WACs), provider contracts, agency policies, and federal confidentiality laws (42 CFR).
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate staff to ensure adherence to compliance, quality standards, and professional conduct.
- Serve as Interim Administrator in the Administrator’s absence, with decision-making authority for non-clinical matters.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve residential treatment processes and client experience.
- Address and resolve inter-departmental challenges to maintain smooth operations.
- Coordinate efforts between department heads to promote effective collaboration and service delivery.
- Act as a liaison among department managers, referral sources, regulatory partners, and the community.
- Prepare reports and statistical data as needed for agency and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure client needs are met with dignity, respect, and timeliness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, willing to accept experience in lieu of degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Program Manager (or equivalent leadership role) in a residential or inpatient treatment facility.
- Strong knowledge of Washington State WACs, federal confidentiality laws (42 CFR), and substance use treatment regulations.
- Demonstrated success in managing multidisciplinary teams and overseeing program operations in a treatment environment.
- Proven ability to ensure compliance, maintain program integrity, and uphold client-centered care standards.
- Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with staff, clients, and external partners.
Compensation
This position offers a salary range of $75,000–$80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Physical Demands
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 10 lbs.
- Prolonged use of computers and standard office equipment may be required.
Work Environment
- Office and residential treatment facility setting with moderate noise.
- 100% on-site position
