Job description
American Behavioral Health Systems (ABHS) is looking for Behavioral Health Technicians to work at our facility in Spokane Valley, WA. Behavioral Health Technicians document client progress and behavior, communicate with families and members of the treatment team, and intervene as necessary during emergencies. This position manages the intake and discharge process while ensuring the safety and security of the patient and his or her personal property. Behavioral Health Technicians also assist nursing staff as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED.
Prefer past experience in social work, nursing homes, community behavioral health clinics or hospitals.
Preference will be given to candidates with de-escalation experience.
Preference given to candidates with CNA / NAR certification.
Must have a genuine concern for people and a proven history of reliability
Schedule information: We have several full-time shifts available at this time; Schedules are Swing shift, Graveyard and Weekends.
There are currently no day shifts available, however, you can be bid into once one becomes available.
Pay & Schedule:
We currently have swings shifts and graveyard positions, and offer a base pay for BHT is $17.00 per hour, and a $1.00 shift differential for swing shift hours, and $2.00 for graveyard shift hours and weekends on top of the $17.00.
Once trained, we offer additional compensation for becoming a lead with a base wage of $17.75. Furthermore, once medcart certified, there's compensation of $1.00, on top of the base wage and any shift differentials.
