Packaging Procurement Analyst

American Bath Group
Irving, TX Full Time
POSTED ON 7/18/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 8/16/2026

Build the Operational Foundation Behind Enterprise Packaging

American Bath Group is one of the largest manufacturers of bathware products in North America, supporting residential, commercial, hospitality, and institutional markets through a portfolio of leading brands.

As American Bath Group has grown, so has the complexity of the packaging materials, suppliers, pricing information, labels, product records, and business systems supporting its manufacturing network.

The Packaging Procurement Analyst will help bring greater structure, accuracy, and visibility to that environment.

This position will own critical packaging procurement activities across multiple business units and ERP systems, including supplier price updates, packaging and label administration, item and supplier data, spend reporting, stocking-program reviews, and procurement project tracking.

This is not a position focused only on producing reports. You will be expected to understand how packaging information affects purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, customer shipments, and financial performance, and then improve the processes supporting that work.

What You Will Own

You will provide the operational backbone for American Bath Group’s enterprise packaging function.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing packaging supplier price-list updates and ensuring pricing is accurately reflected across multiple ERP environments.
  • Maintaining supplier, item, packaging, and purchasing information with a high level of accuracy.
  • Supporting packaging categories such as corrugated, labels, foam, wood, protective packaging, and related materials.
  • Coordinating packaging label activities, including artwork and graphics approvals, printing-die requirements, specification changes, and business-unit or regulatory updates.
  • Reviewing packaging stocking programs and working with plants and suppliers to support material availability without creating unnecessary inventory.
  • Tracking paper and corrugated market indices and translating pricing movements into useful information for procurement decisions.
  • Building and maintaining packaging spend reports, supplier analyses, savings trackers, cost benchmarks, and sole-source exposure reporting.
  • Supporting RFQs, supplier comparisons, bid analysis, qualification documentation, and cost-reduction projects.
  • Coordinating with manufacturing locations, suppliers, procurement, finance, packaging engineering, IT, and master-data teams to resolve discrepancies and improve execution.
  • Identifying manual, inconsistent, or error-prone processes and developing more reliable workflows, reporting tools, or automation.
  • Developing a practical understanding of how packaging materials, specifications, pricing, and labels affect plant operations and finished-product delivery.

The Opportunity to Build

American Bath Group operates through multiple brands, manufacturing locations, suppliers, and business systems. Packaging information and processes have not always been managed consistently across the enterprise.

You will have the opportunity to help change that.

Rather than stepping into a fully standardized environment, you will help establish repeatable processes, improve data quality, simplify workflows, and create information that manufacturing and procurement leaders can trust.

What Success Looks Like

During your first six months, you will be expected to:

  • Learn American Bath Group’s packaging categories, suppliers, plants, systems, and operating processes.
  • Independently manage core packaging pricing, supplier-data, label, and reporting responsibilities.
  • Establish reliable baseline reporting for packaging spend, pricing, and active savings projects.
  • Build productive working relationships with manufacturing, procurement, suppliers, and other enterprise partners.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data accuracy, reduce manual work, and strengthen packaging administration.

By the end of your first year, you should be recognized as a trusted owner of packaging procurement information and processes.

Your work should contribute to:

  • More accurate supplier, item, pricing, and packaging data.
  • Fewer pricing, labeling, and system discrepancies.
  • Better visibility into packaging spend, suppliers, projects, and commodity movements.
  • More consistent packaging processes across business units and manufacturing locations.
  • Stronger support for sourcing, supplier negotiations, and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Repeatable workflows that can scale as American Bath Group continues to grow.

What You Bring

  • A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, finance, operations, merchandising, packaging, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • At least two years of experience in packaging, procurement, purchasing, supply chain operations, commodity support, supplier administration, buyer/planning, or a related operational role.
  • Experience working with packaging materials, packaging suppliers, labels, packaging specifications, private-label packaging workflows, or packaging-related purchasing activities.
  • Experience maintaining business-critical information such as supplier pricing, purchase orders, item records, product attributes, specifications, inventory data, or master data.
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills, including experience organizing, validating, comparing, and reporting information from multiple sources.
  • Experience using an ERP, procurement, inventory, product-information, or workflow-management system.
  • Strong attention to detail and an understanding that small data errors can create larger operational, supplier, inventory, or customer problems.
  • The ability to manage recurring responsibilities and project-based work without losing accuracy.
  • A track record of taking ownership, resolving discrepancies, and following issues through completion.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with suppliers, manufacturing teams, technical partners, and business leadership.

Experience That Will Help You Stand Out

  • Packaging procurement, packaging services, packaging engineering support, or packaging operations experience.
  • Experience with corrugated packaging, labels, cartons, film, foam, wood, protective packaging, or related materials.
  • Buyer/planner experience involving raw materials, supplier management, inventory planning, or purchase-order execution.
  • Experience managing packaging artwork, graphics, label changes, printing requirements, or specification workflows.
  • Experience working across multiple plants, business units, brands, or ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with paper or corrugated pricing indices.
  • Experience with SAP, Epicor CMS, Sage X3, or similar ERP platforms.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Power Query, VBA, SQL, workflow platforms, or other reporting and automation tools.
  • Evidence that you have improved a process, reduced errors, shortened cycle time, automated manual work, or increased visibility.

Why Join American Bath Group

This position offers more than exposure to a single product line or purchasing process.

You will work across an enterprise manufacturing network and gain experience involving packaging, procurement, supplier management, manufacturing operations, data governance, analytics, and process improvement.

You will also have visibility to enterprise supply chain and operations leadership while helping build capabilities that will remain important as American Bath Group continues to grow.

The work is detailed, hands-on, and operationally important. For someone who enjoys combining packaging knowledge, procurement execution, data accuracy, and process improvement, it is an opportunity to make a visible and lasting contribution.
