What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook position at American Bar?
Start Date: ASAP
Position: Lead Line Cook (Full-Time)Responsibilities:

Prepare and execute dishes according to recipes and quality standards

Lead and support line cooks during service; oversee station cleanliness and prep

Work closely with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef on daily specials and prep
-
Ensure food safety, sanitation, and workplace cleanliness in compliance with DOH regulations

Assist with inventory and ordering as needed

Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude
Qualifications:

3 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen (Italian cuisine a plus)

Proven leadership skills in a culinary environment

Excellent knife skills and cooking techniques

Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines

Punctual, dependable, and professional

Position Type: Full-Time (evenings and weekends required)
