Receptionist

$18.00/hour to start. Full-time position at Maple Crest Health Center in Omaha, NE, with a schedule of 8:30 am–5:00 pm. Join our team and help create a welcoming, professional environment for residents, families, visitors, and employees.

What you'll do:

• Welcome and assist residents, visitors, vendors, and employees in person and over the phone
• Answer and direct calls using a multi-line telephone system, take messages, and respond to routine inquiries
• Provide administrative and clerical support, including typing, filing, preparing resident and new hire packets, and completing reports
• Sort, distribute, and prepare incoming and outgoing mail
• Assist with daily census reports, invoices, resident payments, trust account funds, and personal needs accounts as directed
• Maintain department supplies, organize office areas, and ensure office equipment is properly secured
• Protect the confidentiality and security of resident information and protected health information (PHI)
• Maintain positive working relationships with staff across departments and support the daily operations of the community
• Help create a warm, respectful, and professional environment that reflects ABHM's mission and core values
  
  

What you'll need:

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
• Customer service experience and effective communication skills
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to communicate with residents, families, visitors, and staff
• Ability to use computers, Microsoft Office, telephone systems, and general office equipment
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
• Professional, positive, and respectful communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  
  

Preferred:

• Previous receptionist, administrative, or clerical experience
• Experience working in a healthcare, senior living, or long-term care setting
