What You'll Do
- Assist residents with medication administration and limited topical treatments under the supervision of the Assisted Living Director
- Support activities of daily living according to individualized care plans
- Monitor residents and report changes in condition to clinical staff
- Support residents' physical, emotional, and mental well-being
- Follow community policies, procedures, and state medication management requirements
What You'll Need
Required:
- 18 years of age or older
- Iowa Medication Manager Certification or Iowa Certified Medication Aide certification
- Able to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
Preferred:
- 1 year of healthcare, assisted living, or long-term care experience — Elm Crest will train the right candidate who holds the required certification but has less experience
- Experience administering medications in a senior living setting
