The Vice President provides statewide leadership for Ivy Tech’s Schools of Nursing, Health Sciences, Public Affairs, and Social Services. This position serves as the College’s workforce alignment expert, ensuring academic programs, skills training, and credentials remain relevant, high quality, and responsive to employer and community needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead workforce development and alignment initiatives across assigned sectors.
- Use labor market data, employer input, and industry trends to guide program strategy and recommendations.
- Advise campuses on program development, curriculum alignment, and workforce relevance.
- Collaborate with Academic Affairs, Career Link, and Foundation leadership to support program growth and student success.
- Build and maintain relationships with employers, industry groups, professional associations, and state leaders.
- Analyze enrollment, retention, completion, and workforce outcomes to inform strategic decisions.
- Provide leadership for curriculum committees, accreditation activities, and workforce-related initiatives.
- Lead Assistant Vice Presidents and campus Deans in establishing strategic direction.
- Support faculty recruitment and expand experiential learning opportunities, including internships, externships, and clinical placements.
- Master’s degree required; related field preferred.
- Three or more years of experience in healthcare, nursing, public administration, social services, workforce development, higher education, or a related field.
- Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel as needed.
