Description: The Catholic University of America Conway School of Nursing invites applications from doctorally prepared candidates for a full- time, on-campus faculty position with primary teaching responsibilities within the School’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program. National Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC/PMHNP-C) is required.
Qualifications: Qualified applicants will be clinically experienced with a minimum of one year of full-time clinical practice as a PMHNP and be eligible for approval to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Washington, DC. One to two years of demonstrated success teaching at the undergraduate or graduate prelicensure level is preferred. Candidates will be capable of teaching across programs including mental health topics in the DNP Nurse Practitioner Program. Candidates will also show evidence of a developing program of scholarship that includes professional presentations and publications. Faculty appointment for this position will be made at the Assistant or Associate Professor level on the practice or tenure track depending on the candidate’s qualifications.
