Family Nurse Practitioner Program Director
Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00
Iona University, in partnership with the national search firm Scott Healy & Associates, invites applications and nominations for the position of Family Nurse Practitioner Program Director. This is an exciting opportunity to lead Iona University's newly developed Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) degree program and play a key role in shaping the next generation of advanced practice nurses. This faculty role with administrative responsibilities offers flexibility with scheduling while maintaining strong engagement with the program and university community.
The Program Director serves as a full-time, non-tenure track Senior Clinical Lecturer responsible for leading and teaching in the FNP program. Applicants should have a record of teaching and practice experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner and as a Nurse Educator. Responsibilities include curriculum development, delivering high-quality learning experiences and training for Master's-level FNP students, collaborating with clinical partners to ensure successful clinical placements, and actively contributing to marketing and recruitment initiatives in addition to advising FNP students. This opportunity is an 11-month faculty position.

Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in nursing or a related field
- New York State unencumbered APRN License
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum of five (5) years of full-time experience in teaching at the collegiate level
- Clinical experience within areas of expertise
- Have an established clinical practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Working knowledge of regulations for FNP nursing education
- Experience teaching in online or hybrid format in higher education
- Outstanding computer skills that include proficiency Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint and ability to quickly learn other software platform
