The College of Nursing at Auburn University, located in Auburn, Alabama, invites applications for a full-time on-campus, 12-month, non-tenure track faculty position. Candidates with adult health nursing experience are sought to teach nursing theoretical concepts and fundamental clinical skills to our highly qualified nursing students.

The College of Nursing admits traditional BSN students each spring and RN to BSN students each semester. We offer a Master’s in Nursing with Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Educator options. Doctoral programs include the Doctor of Nursing Practice and Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing. The baccalaureate degree program in nursing, master's degree program in nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice program, and post-graduate APRN certificate program at Auburn University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. http://www.ccneaccreditation.org/
Minimum qualifications for Clinical Track: Master’s degree in nursing at the time employment begins. Must have current clinical skills and be eligible for certification in clinical specialty. Desired qualifications: Doctorate in Nursing or related field at the time employment begins. Teaching experience in a baccalaureate program and certified in clinical specialty.
Candidates must be eligible for Alabama RN license, must meet eligibility requirements for work in the United States at the time employment begins and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment. Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
