The College of Nursing at Auburn University, located in Auburn, Alabama, invites applications for a full-time on-campus 12-month, non-tenure track faculty position. Candidates with experience in critical care nursing are sought to teach our highly qualified student body.

The College of Nursing admits traditional BSN students each spring and RN to BSN students each semester. We offer a Master’s in Nursing with Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Educator options. Doctoral programs include the Doctor of Nursing Practice and Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing. The baccalaureate degree program in nursing, master's degree program in nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice program, and post-graduate APRN certificate program at Auburn University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. http://www.ccneaccreditation.org/
Minimum qualifications for Clinical Track: Master’s degree in nursing at the time employment begins. Must have current clinical skills in critical care nursing and be eligible for certification in clinical specialty. Desired qualifications: Doctorate in Nursing or related field at the time employment begins. Teaching experience in a baccalaureate program and certified in clinical specialty.
Candidates must be eligible for Alabama RN license, must meet eligibility requirements for work in the United States at the time employment begins and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment. Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
Interested candidates should submit 1) a letter of interest addressing above qualifications 2) a complete curriculum vitae, 3) official transcripts of each degree awarded and 4) names of three individuals who have been requested by the applicant to act as references. Only complete application materials will be considered.
