Why This Role Matters
- Be the link between production and the customer by preparing accurate, on-time shipments.
- Keep our warehouse humming by flexing across Pick/Pack, Dock, International, and UPS/Fed-EX stations.
- Protect product integrity through careful staging, counting, labeling, and compliance with standards.
- Stage and sort products for trailer load/unload.
- Pick, pull, and prep orders with strong organization.
- Backfill as needed across all shipping stations.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
- Pull the manual dock chain correctly and safely.
- Shrink wrap, box, and label materials; move inventory within the warehouse.
- Use NAV with an RF scanner to process transactions accurately.
- Operate forklift, cherry picker, pallet jack, RF scanner, computers, and printers.
- Assemble customer orders from stock; palletize/shelve or send to packing/shipping.
- Weigh or count items to meet company distribution standards.
- Conduct cycle counts.
- Assist with show coordination and sample preparation.
- Support product and shipment labeling.
- Complete other tasks/projects assigned by leadership.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (required); Forklift Certification (preferred).
- Able to regularly lift/move 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
- Comfort reading tickets and processing work instructions.
- Basic MS Office capability (Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
- Safe forklift operation; tolerant of hot and cold environments.
- Full-time, Monday–Thursday, 40 hours; occasional evenings/weekends as needed.
- No travel required.
- Extended standing; frequent walking, reaching, handling.
- Occasional sitting, climbing/balancing, stooping/kneeling/crouching/crawling.
- Frequent lifting/moving of 50 lbs.; vision: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth, focus.
- Continuous Improvement, Kaizen
- Quality Control, SOP adherence, Visual Inspection Aids
- Shipping/Receiving; Warehouse, Distribution, and Material Handling experience
- Forklift Licensed; Meets Physical Requirements; High School/GED
- Basic Computer Skills
- Forklifts and other common warehouse equipment
