What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electromechanical Assembly Technician (Ceramic Equipment) position at American Art Clay Company?
Shape the tools that shape creativity
Since 1919, American Art Clay Company (AMACO) has pioneered clay bodies, lead-free glazes, electric kilns, and Brent potter’s wheels. As a fourth-generation, family-owned company, we believe making art enriches lives and communities. On our manufacturing floor, innovation and continuous improvement are part of everyone’s day—from the factory floor to the executive offices.
Step into a day where you’ll inspect materials, interpret blueprints, and build the mechanical and electrical subassemblies that power our AMACO/Brent product lines. You’ll label, package, and verify quality with precision—often lifting up to 50 pounds—while occasionally mentoring teammates on processes you’ve mastered. You’ll report to the Mechanical Division Supervisor and may receive assignments from department leader(s) or designated personnel.
