- This position in the Finance organization reports to the Senior Manager of Fleet Transactions. The analyst/senior analyst will support all activities related to aircraft leasing. The successful candidate will take ownership, responsibility, and accountability of assigned projects and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

- Support the aircraft lease renewal negotiation process, and other aircraft lease related projects
- Review agreements and identify opportunities to improve terms and conditions
- Foster relationships with external counterparts, primarily aircraft lessors and counsel
- Collaborate with AA counsel to ensure proper documentation of agreed commercial terms
- Support aircraft novations and transfers by verifying contractual provisions are satisfied
- Ensure contractual lease obligations are being met
- Primary point of contact to all relevant stakeholders internally for aircraft lease related matters (accounting, legal, tech ops, tax, finance, etc)
- Maintain and update internal database for all aircraft transactional information
- Manage ad hoc projects related to fleet administration
- Other special projects and tasks as assigned
Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience
- College degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
- 2-3 years of related work experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with internal/external stakeholders
- Contracts and negotiation experience
- Technical knowledge of aircraft and engines preferred
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects concurrently
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
