Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in setting up and operating CNC press brake machines, interpreting blueprints, and maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine bend sequences and tooling setups.
- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all safety policies and procedures.
- Perform basic maintenance and report equipment issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1–3 years of experience operating a press brake (CNC preferred) in a metal fabrication environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
