What are the responsibilities and job description for the Visiting Professor position at American Accounting Association?
The Adkerson School of Accountancy at Mississippi State University invites applications for a visiting professor beginning August 2026. Candidates should have a doctorate in accounting from an AACSB accredited institution and will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses. ABDs will be considered if they are close to completion. Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching (face-to-face and online) and demonstrate the potential for excellence in accounting research. Preference will be given to candidates who are CPAs and have professional work experience.
