Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger for transportation and warehousing entities
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Assist with month-end and year-end close, including accruals and adjustments
- Support preparation of internal financial statements and management reports
- Analyze transportation, warehousing, and distribution costs and variances
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting for logistics and supply chain operations
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure accurate revenue and expense recognition
- Help improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting tools
- Support audits and compliance with GAAP and company policies
