Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential cost savings.
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
- Maintain internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue, costs, and both team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures.
- Implement new accounting policies and maintain existing policies.
- Instruct and support accounting staff and departments in daily, monthly, and yearly accounting processes.
