In this role, you will help keep the organization's accounting operations accurate, organized, and running smoothly. You'll contribute to the financial processes that support day-to-day agency operations while partnering across core accounting functions to maintain reliable records, support reporting, and strengthen overall financial visibility.
Responsibilities
- Maintain general ledger records and ensure accurate day-to-day bookkeeping entries.
- Process accounts payable, invoices, and check runs in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and merchant account transactions regularly.
- Support payroll processing, financial reporting, and month-end close activities.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and preparation of annual financial statements.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with consolidated reporting and preparing trial balances.
- Hands-on experience supporting month-end close activities, budgeting, forecasting, and preparation of annual financial statements.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Experience with healthcare accounting.
- Familiarity with Medicaid billing.
- Experience working with auditors and outside accountants.
- Flexible, part-time, daytime schedule with hybrid remote work options (some in person hours required)
