American Academy (AA) is searching for an Elementary School Principal at the Motsenbocker campus.
The Elementary School Principal is responsible for the operation and academic administration of all disciplines of elementary, including analyzing achievement data and coaching elementary teachers to ensure student growth and proficiency; supervising and evaluating teaching staff; implementing and monitoring the American Academy policies and procedures, and providing general contributions to the overall growth and development of the American Academy elementary school.
General Responsibilities:
Adhere to the mission and philosophy of American Academy with enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity.
Ensure the instruction of American Academy's elementary school curriculum with fidelity.
Uphold and model American Academy’s Character and Manners program.
Collaborate and work closely with the Executive Director of Schools and Deputy Executive Director of Schools.
Work as a positive member of the American Academy Leadership team.
Lead each teacher to improve student performance using summative national and state assessment data.
Develop and maintain a positive partnership with parents and students.
Hire, manage, and evaluate the elementary school teaching staff.
Ensure complete, accurate and timely record keeping.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Education or related field
Minimum of three years administrative experience in an elementary school
Teaching license with an elementary endorsement
Minimum of three years teaching in an elementary school classroom
Preferred Experience:
Core Knowledge philosophy
Current Colorado Principal’s license
Master’s degree in Educational Administration
Salary : $84,000 - $96,000
