Vitreoretinal Surgeon Faculty Opportunity Full Time, Board Certified / Board Eligible and Fellowship Trained University of Texas Medical Branch - Galveston, Texas
The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB Health) in Galveston, Texas is growing and seeking to add a full-time, Vitreoretinal Surgeon. This position will be engaged in a full range of patient eye care which will include surgery, outpatient clinics, inpatient care / management, and consults in the Galveston County region. Faculty also participate in the resident and fellowship education programs. Leadership opportunities are available within the Department and the Institution.
Candidate Requirements - Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited medical school with residency training in Ophthalmology. The candidate must also be Certified / Board eligible in Ophthalmology and have a valid unrestricted Texas medical license. Salary is commensurate with Academic rank, experience, and qualifications.
