What are the responsibilities and job description for the Comprehensive Ophthalmologist/Medical Retina position at American Academy of Ophthalmology?
Well established and busy private practice of over 45 years in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago is seeking a Comprehensive, Cornea, Medical Retina, or Oculoplastics fellowship trained Ophthalmologist to join our growing MD / OD practice. Office locations are in Barrington and Crystal Lake. This high surgical volume, fast paced practice has two Ophthalmologists and a residency trained Optometrist. We are looking for a hard-working, ethical and personable candidate. The ideal candidate would be interested in femtosecond laser assisted cataract surgery.
Our offices are well staffed with certified ophthalmic technicians and scribes. We are one of only a few practices with the new FDA approved Optilight IPL technology for dry eyes / aesthetics. Our practice uses Nextech EMR, SLT, YAG, OCT, HVF, Cellview fundus / external camera, Topography, Argos Biometer, and also has an optical shop on site at both locations.
