Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Barback to join our team at Fiasco on Main, an upscale casual bistro known for exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, support our bartenders, and ensure the bar area operates smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bar Support: Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and garnishes to ensure bartenders have all necessary supplies.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including glassware, bar tools, and equipment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and communicate with management to prevent shortages.
- Customer Service Assistance: Assist bartenders in serving non-alcoholic beverages, delivering orders, or clearing bar counters to enhance the guest experience.
- Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations, including food handling and alcohol service guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the bar team and other staff to provide seamless service during peak hours.
- Problem-Solving: Quickly address and resolve any operational issues in the bar area to minimize disruptions.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar is preferred but not required.
Current MAST and ServSafe food handler's certifications.
Strong multitasking and time-management skills.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
