OPPORTUNITY
America West Properties, Inc. is seeking to hire a full-time, experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to process invoices, manage utility accounts, and oversee vendor payments.

Responsibilities
· Daily review and organization of mailed-in and electronic invoices
· Processing 100-150 invoices each day in the Yardi software platform
· Inspect invoices to ensure accuracy and payments are made on time
· Maintain vendor and utility relationships, and promptly address any inquiries or discrepancies in invoicing
· Process checks and online electronic payments for all approved invoices
· Establish and facilitate online electronic (ACH) payments for utility accounts
Requirements
- Full-time in-office position in Lake Forest, California
- A minimum of five years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, with a strong track record of processing a high volume of invoices
- Must be proficient in utilizing the Yardi software platform for processing payables
- A strong attention to detail and high level of organization in daily responsibilities
- Ability to multi-task and handle requests in a timely manner
- Strength in collaborating with a team of Accountants and Property Management staff
- Knowledge of Adobe, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
