What Happens in Processing Anyway?
- Sort donated items and identify great finds
- Help identify recyclable items. Even if we can't sell it, we can keep it out of the landfill!
- Get those great finds sales floor ready
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Load and unload carts to get merchandise out safely and efficiently
- Clean up and reset the processing area at the end of each day

Processing Supervisor – America’s Thrift Stores
America’s Thrift Stores is looking for an experienced Processing Supervisor to lead our production team and keep daily operations running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in processing, warehouse work, or production environments who can drive results, coach a team, and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
What You’ll Do

Lead and support the daily workflow of the processing/production team

Maintain inventory accuracy, monitor stock levels, and anticipate needs

Ensure fast, efficient, and high-quality processing that meets daily production goals

Train, coach, and develop team members to uphold performance and safety standards

Assist with hiring, onboarding, and scheduling

Perform hands-on quality checks and step in to support processing tasks when needed

Maintain merchandise quality, pricing accuracy, and shop-ability

Uphold safety, OSHA guidelines, and loss prevention policies

Support store leadership and act as the point person in the ASM’s absence
What We’re Looking For
-
At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse, processing, or production environment (supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred)

Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.

Basic computer and math skills

High school diploma or GED preferred
-
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
Physical & Work Environment

Frequent lifting, bending, reaching, climbing, and standing

Work performed both indoors (semi-controlled environment) and outdoors in varying weather

Regular and weekend hours; occasional evenings/holidays as needed
