Job description
America's Floor Source is seeking a full-time sales assistant for our retail division. Flooring experience helpful but not required.
Applicant must be extremely detailed and organized, with a positive and energetic attitude and exceptional communication skills. Must have a professional demeanor and the ability to meet or exceed customers' expectations. The primary responsibility is to transfer information from written work orders to a computer database; other duties include scheduling projects and communicating with customers.
Job Requirements
- Assist salespeople and customers by processing orders and payments, tracking shipments and scheduling jobs
- Greet customers, answer the phone, maintain and organize the showroom and label samples
- Proficiency with Windows PC applications, including the ability to learn new software platforms
- Ability to multi-task, remaining focused and productive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong math skills
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, results oriented, and accountable
