Job Summary:
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality service to our membership while conducting front-line transactions. This includes receiving and processing financial transactions, selling consignment items, and transferring amounts from member accounts as directed.
Main Responsibilities:
- Process financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments
- Sell consignment items, cashier checks, and travelers checks to members
- Transfer amounts from member accounts as directed
- Balance cash drawer and daily transactions, notifying Head Teller of any discrepancies
- Post transactions to member accounts and maintain member records in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
- Welcome members and provide routine information concerning services, directing them to the appropriate department for specific information and service
- Prepare Currency Transaction Reports and report suspicious activity for Head Teller's review
- Cross-sell Credit Union services
- Perform miscellaneous tasks, including processing night drop and ATM deposits
Performance Measurements:
- Provide friendly, professional, personal service to all members and employees, maintaining a Quality Loop score of 6.7 or higher
- Balance your drawer daily and accurately post transactions with minimal errors
- Proactively seek opportunities to identify appropriate products and services for the betterment of the member
- Maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness
- Maintain a professional work environment and businesslike appearance
