Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of pole barn construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within scope.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation during construction.
- Utilize construction management software
- Oversee on-site activities to ensure adherence to safety standards, building codes, and contractual obligations.
- Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and progress reports.
- Monitor project progress regularly through site visits and updates; adjust schedules as needed to maintain momentum.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management with a focus on pole barn or similar heavy timber structures.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings.
- Proficiency with construction estimating software and project management tools
- Familiarity with contracts management and legal aspects of construction projects.
- Demonstrated ability in project scheduling and time management to meet tight deadlines.
- On-site construction experience with an understanding of civil site work and structural assembly processes.
- Excellent communication skills for effective project coordination across multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical specifications accurately; experience with construction site safety protocols is preferred.
