Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment and material handling tools in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines
- Handle industrial chemicals and pharmaceutical agents safely, adhering to all safety protocols including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and respiratory protection requirements
- Perform routine inspections of machinery, identify issues, and communicate maintenance needs promptly to ensure continuous production flow
- Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and material handling tasks while maintaining strict compliance with regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, including batch records, logs, and incident reports
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely to move raw materials and finished products within the facility
Requirements
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or industrial chemical handling is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
- Familiarity with GMP, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and regulatory/legal compliance standards in production environments
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with materials handling and packaging processes is advantageous
- Valid certification for forklift operation and chemical agent handling is a plus
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment that requires standing, walking, lifting, and wearing PPE for extended periods
