Responsibilities:
- Maintain entrance and exit logs for authorized persons.
- Inspect bags and packages entering the premises.
- Operate metal detectors as necessary.
- Conduct periodic patrols, checking for fire hazards and mechanical alarm system malfunctions.
- Report security violations to the facility manager.
- Maintain a daily duty log documenting all activities and incidents.
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid guard license.
- Minimum age requirement: 21 years.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two (2) years of security/law enforcement experience.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact courteously with the public.
- Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Ability to follow printed rules and directions.
- Good general health, able to stand/walk for entire shifts, lift/carry up to 50 pounds, and run/climb stairs.
- Current First Aid Card.
- Clean criminal record; no probation or history of domestic violence.
- Must be mentally and physically alert at all times.
- Willingness to undergo company screening process, including drug test and background investigation.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
