A2 Global is looking to add team members to their warehouse facility. Component Services & Logistics is a state-of-the-art, air-conditioned logistics facility that supports one of the leading independent distributors of electronic components. The X-Ray lab technician role requires prior electronic component X-ray experience, XRF and/or Decap experience for the role.
Standard work hours: Monday – Friday 10am - 7pm.
The summary of duties are as follows:
Summary of Responsibilities/Duties
1. Perform radiological tests on electronic components & interpret results
2. Utilize a variety of methods to decapsulate components , verify die markings and record results
3. Perform chemical solvency tests to verify component surface coatings and part markings
4. Complete testing in accordance with specified internal and external requirements, including but not limited to AS6081, AS6171, AS9120
5. Perform basic electrical testing of components, drives and memory and validate results against manufacturers specifications
6. Perform and document detailed visual inspection of components and verify results
7. Perform quality control and calibrate equipment if necessary
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Microsoft office and other relevant computer programs
- High School diploma/ GED required
- Able to understand written and oral English instructions.
- Previous experience with X-ray of electronic components , XRF or Decap
- Strong attention to detail, ability to perform basic mathematics(subtract, add , divide)
